You can make this simple butterfly from used toilet paper cylinder ,colored papers  , plastic craft eyes and coloring pens.. just be creative and decorate it the way you any your kid will enjoy.
And remember always even if you don't find it nice your kid will always like what he did.. just let him/her decorate the way they like.
